An intense plum flavour begins the journey through strong earthiness, finishing with a rich spiciness. New and old oak has been used to give more structured tannins. Pier 10 Vineyard has three clones of Pinot, with dominance from the small bunch MV6 clone in this wine giving it a rich, plum palate. Smooth, elegant and well balanced. Will cellar well.
